Building Research, Inclusion, and Discovery for Graduate Education (BRIDGE)

GOAL

The BRIDGE program will strengthen enrollment pipelines from FSU into UMCES graduate programs to enhance the environmental workforce and develop a cadre of environmental professionals that reflects the diversity of the Baltimore-Washington Metro area. 

OBJECTIVES

The BRIDGE program exposes students to a variety of scientific approaches to encourage them to pursue graduate studies. Mentorship during summer internships helps students navigate the graduate school admission process.

Digital Credential

Students and mentors will co-create digital content that can be used for recruitment of future students with similar backgrounds into graduate programs. Students will receive digital credentials at the completion of the summer internship.
