- Define and engage in shared governance topics.
- Discuss the role of the Provost, expectations, vision, and goals.
- Showcase digital credentials.
- Review proposal opportunities.
- Ensure that the Provost and VPRED obtain input.
- Develop a baseline for future engagement.
A digital badge in Shared Governance is earned through:
- Attendance at the Provost and Vice President for Research and Economic Development presentation and breakout sessions.
- Completion of the Chesapeake 101 Sample Course.
- Completion of follow-up survey.
- Copy the specific credential link for your earned record from your My Credentials page.
- In LinkedIn, choose Add profile section > Licenses & Certifications.
- Use this badge title as the certification name and “University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES)” as the issuing organization.
- Paste your unique credential link into “Credential URL”.
